Overview
Design of a robotic manufacturing system using wood offcuts for prefabricated, customised self-shading facades. A digital material library catalogues the offcut stock; the robotic process matches sticks to the design and places them with an ABB 6700 six-axis robot and a custom end effector, with OpenCV / AR-assisted construction.

Responsibilities
- Material research, collection and fabrication processing
- Digital library of wood offcuts
- Scheme design and robotic process optimisation
- Robot control path files
Methodology
- Offcut digitisation: physical data captured into a searchable digital library
- Robotic placement with ABB 6700 and custom end effector; CNC support
- OpenCV and AR-assisted construction for positioning and verification
